Power Wristbands
The Power Balance wristband is a sixty dollar wrist-band that is supposed to use its hologram to make vibrations that interact with your body’s healing frequencies and give you extra flexibility, strength and balance. It is all just a hoax, codenix bought me a placebo band for two dollars (Not the Power Balance one, one just like it but made by skeptics and is only two dollars – Funds raised will go to polio vaccination charities) and showed me how it works, it doesn’t, it does absolutely nothing, other than produce the placebo effect on the wearer. Hope no-one has wasted sixty dollars on one. There are lots of tests that are supposed to show that the placebo band works (The following content is copied from the SkepticBros website):
